Elephant Paintings
I love elephants....they are inteligent, emotional, entertaining, mystical and I find them fascinating.
So my new elephant paintings are a tribute, but are also a departure in technique for me as I work with just a palette knife!
Up close the paintings look like some very simple marks but as you step back the images begin to take shape.
My intention is to build up the paint so it really stands out from the canvas, just like my palette.
