Amanda studied art, ceramics, textiles, design and photography, and completed her art training at West Surrey Collegeof Art and Design in the mid 80s, gaining a BA Hons degree in 3D Design (Glass) and Photography.

One of Amanda’s passions is horses and her love for them as a subject and as recreation has remained with her to this day.  She is a member of The Society of Equestrian Artists and exhibits with them at the Mall Galleries in London.  Her current inspirations come from the world of Polo with its movement and action.

In the early 80′s Amanda started gliding and spent most of her time on airfields around the UK, France and South Africa.

She joined the Guild of Aviation Artists in 1987 and regularly exhibited with them at the Mall Galleries in London.

Amanda is currently working on horse and dog commissioned paintings in watercolour and acrylic on canvas, and is developing several groups of work inspired by a recent trip to Mull in Scotland, (including painted pebbles), close up studies of flowers, and carp swimming.

Amanda creates her paintings and drawings in acrylic on canvas, watercolour or pencil, and is a photographer and web designer. 

She has taught watercolours to adults and has run ceramics club at Ladymede School in Buckinghamshire.
